Combining a studio and two bedroom apartment in a pre-war co-op building overlooking the East River in Manhattan for an avid art collector and her family. Original historic details like wrought iron single pane windows, stone fireplaces were preserved while the kitchen and three bathrooms were designed with complementing 21st century updates. A telescopic pocket door at the study allows for unobstructed expansion into the oversized living room. OBO provided all architectural design and documentation, including board review and Department of Buildings permitting and sign-offs.
